Dearest, Paddy is a snail addict but admits that it's only an excuse to eat pure garlic in a social situation. Am loving your website and even though you can't see me when you look back, know that I'll be there with all my love to get you both up those antisocial hills! xxx

Ah the bike? We are trying to relax and not stress that they will be stolen. The hardest part is not when sleeping but in towns where we wish to wander without all the luggage. We take the valuables with us and hope everything else is there when we return. Most hotels have given us a back room....camping we are pretty confident we would hear a thief taking to chained together bikes....and we have used bells.

This is such a foody adventure Jules and Li, I am loving all of it. I do think a bike ride around France sis doable for most people. I have spoken to Sandy about it and although nether of us currently have bikes 'oh the shame' we do think we'd enjoy it. Frankly I think most people would, the photos, and food and pace sounds gorgeous. BTW where do you park your bikes when you sleep, how do you trust they are still there in the morning???
mucho loveo sharon xx
