And the philosophical side of Julie is released by the soothing and not so soothing distractions of cycling. Who is the richer person, the nomad who has their wealth walking in front of them, able to respond to changes and opportunities, or the sedentary, who by their very definition have stayed still but are free to pursue thoughts that are the luxury of the rich? We think you have the envious position of both, the freedom of enjoyment of the nomad and the thoughts of the sedentary, coupled with true love.
